RIDE A REAL MOUNTAIN
Long known for its bottomless powder and steep terrain, Snowbird has fully embraced the jib era with multiple terrain parks and a new Superpipe creating a one-two punch of world-class big mountain riding as well as park and pipe features for all abilities. And speaking of ability, should yours not be quite up to snuff, fear not. Snowbird’s Mountain School offers classes for adults and children looking to shred either venue.

SOFT ADVENTURE
Snowbird offers much more than steeps and deep. For those who like variety in their vacation, try a guided two-hour snowshoe tour away from the high-speed quads and groomed slopes. Snowbird’s Activity Center arranges tours for all levels of snowshoers and the Cliff Spa offers packages incorporating an afternoon of showshoeing with a spa treatment. Other non-ski activities include ice skating, tubing, snowmobile tours, shopping, pedicures and manicures in the Cliff Spa, ski movies, the Adventure Lecture Series and much more.

FOOD TO MATCH THE POWDER
Led by Chris Mueller, Snowbird’s Food and Beverage Department is reaching new heights with an impressive staff of veteran chefs creating mountain culinary delights for every palate. Lodge Bistro Chef R.J. Peterson’s latest menu features delicacies such as coconut shrimp, double French cut pork chops, pan seared salmon and grilled eggplant Napoleon. The Wildflower Ristorante’s new menu and elegant atmosphere is topped off by a breathtaking view of the Wasatch Mountains.

THREE DAYS EQUALS THREE DAYS
Normally a long weekend trip turns into just that: a long weekend. But Snowbird’s proximity to Salt Lake City International Airport (29 miles, 40 minutes) allows skiers and snowboarders to spend less time traveling and more time recreating on the mountain. Whether you’re flying from Los Angeles or New York or Florida, only part of the day is spent traveling to Snowbird. A three-day ski trip to Snowbird means three days of skiing.
